FAQ
Questions buyers ask us before the first order
If your question is not here, send it over — we would rather answer it now than have it turn into a problem later in the project.
Are you a factory or a trading company?
We are a factory. Buran has been manufacturing solid-wood furniture since 2010, and pet furniture is what we specialise in now. Cutting, edge banding, assembly, finishing and packing all happen in our own workshop, so you are dealing with the people who actually make the product.
What is your MOQ?
MOQ is agreed per project rather than fixed for every customer. We can start with a trial quantity so you can test a new listing before committing to a full container, and scale up once it sells. Send us the product and the quantity you have in mind and we will tell you what is practical.
Can you produce from my drawings, a sample or reference photos?
Yes — this is the majority of what we do. Send any of the following and we will take it from there:
- Technical drawings or CAD files
- A physical sample you want copied or improved
- Reference photos plus your target size and price level
We will come back with a unit price, MOQ options and a sample plan.
How long does a sample take?
The sample schedule depends on whether the design is new or an existing style, and on how much customisation is involved. We confirm the exact sample lead time together with your quotation, so you are not working from a generic number that turns out to be wrong.
Can you do private label and branded packaging?
Yes. We produce under your own brand — logo branding on the product where the design allows, plus your artwork on cartons and labels. If you need barcodes, retail labelling or specific carton markings, tell us at the quotation stage so it can be built into the packing spec.
What materials and finishes do you work with?
Solid wood and engineered boards, finished in a range of stains, paints and oils. Because the product has to live in a home, we also spend time on the details that buyers complain about later: edge sealing, stability, and how the surface holds up in everyday use.
If your market has specific material or finish requirements, tell us before production and we will match them.
How do you control quality?
Inspection runs at each stage rather than only at the end: raw material intake, cutting, edge banding, finishing, and final check before packing. Bulk production always runs against the sample you approved.
Third-party inspection is welcome. Let us know early and we will schedule production around the inspection date.
Do you provide certificates and compliance documents?
Material test reports, factory documents and export paperwork are available, and they travel with your order. If your market requires a specific test report or a factory audit, tell us before production starts so it can be built into the schedule rather than added at the end.
Which countries do you ship to?
We currently ship to more than 30 countries, with the largest share going to Europe and North America. Shipping terms, port of loading and documentation are agreed per order and confirmed on the proforma invoice.
How does packing and shipping work?
For flat-pack designs we use reinforced cartons; for heavier or fragile pieces we use export crates. Everything is palletised and loaded by our own team, and we send you loading photos when the container is sealed so you can see what left the factory.
What are your payment terms?
Payment terms are agreed per order and written on the proforma invoice, so the arrangement is clear before production starts. If your company works to a standard internal payment process, tell us at the quotation stage and we will work with it.
Can I visit the factory?
Yes, and we would encourage it. Buyers are welcome to walk the line, meet the team and check the process in person. Send us your dates and we will arrange the visit around your schedule.
Still have a question?
Send it over with your product idea. We will answer it together with your quotation — usually within one working day.
